David Egiashvili holds a Ph.D in Land Administration. David is actively involved in international consulting for land administration and property registration. He spent more than 17 years working in market development and land registration since the late 1990s.Egiashvili has worked as an international consultant with the World Bank, USAID, IFC, UN FAO, UNDP and other donors in number of countries.
He is director of the Professional Consulting Group in Tbilisi, Georgia. From 2004 to 2006 he was chair of the National Agency of Public Registry of Georgia.
Reforms implemented during this period were ranked best by Doing Business 2006 He was the founding head of the Public (land) Registry of Georgia in 2004-2006. Reforms implemented during this period in the National Agency of Public Registry were the highest ranked by Doing Business 2006, conducted by the World Bank and the International Finance Corporation ( IFC).Since then David worked in private sector and as an international consultant for different donor-funded projects focusing on land Policy, land administration and registration, land tenure, land privatisation and land market development. He has worked with World Bank, IFC, UN FAO, UNDP and other donors in number of countries like Ukraine, Serbia, Kirgizstan, Romania, Kosovo, Uzbekistan, Moldova, Tajikistan and others. He is a former member of the UNECE WPLA.
