• Checks are implemented by sanitary authorities; • All visitors from the shore boarding vessels must use disposable masks, gloves and shoes covers while on board; • Removal of ship waste will only be possible after preliminary disinfection treatment; • Crew change and shore leave are not permitted; • All visitors are prohibited from boarding vessels, except for port authorities, agent, and stevedores, until 22 June 2020. 24.09.2021 COVID-19 update: Quarantine extended until 31 December 2021 in Ukraine In accordance with the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated of 13 September 2021 No. 254, the “adaptive” quarantine system is extended until 31 December 2021. From 23 September 2021 (00:00), the “yellow” level of epidemiological risk applies across the territory of Ukraine (main requirements introduced in Ukraine and posted on Flash Info on 25 June 2021 remain in place). 23.06.2021 COVID-19 update: Quarantine extended until 31 August 2021 in Ukraine The quarantine in Ukraine has been extended by the Government until 31 August 2021. However, the “green” level of epidemiological risk has been introduced across Ukraine. According to the new health rules and regulations, all persons entering Ukraine including professional drivers engaged in international freight transport have to present one of the following documents: · a negative PCR test for COVID-19 made no later than 72 hours before entering Ukraine; · a negative antigen express test for coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 made no later than 72 hours before entering Ukraine; · confirmation of receiving full course of COVID-19 vaccination by a vaccine, included in the list of WHO and permitted to use during emergencies. 25.05.2021 Seasonal restrictions in Ukraine According to Ukravtodor, starting from 01 June 2020 temporary restrictions on the movement of vehicles with a total weight of more than 24 tons and an axle load of more than 7 tons are introduced on public roads to preserve the road surface. Appropriate road signs and information boards have been installed on public roads. More than 982 sites in road lanes and near road service facilities have been prepared for the temporary settling of vehicles along the roads. Restrictions do not apply to vehicles transporting dangerous, perishable goods, live animals and poultry, as well as transport related to the prevention or elimination of the consequences of emergencies. 28.08.2020 Due to an increased number of COVID-19 infections, quarantine in Ukraine has been prolonged until 1 November 2020. Restrictive measures will be in force until 31 October 2020. As a COVID-19 containment measure, Ukraine will close its borders to non-nationals from 00:00 on 29 August 2020 until 00:00 on 28 September. The following exceptions will apply: - Drivers or crew members of vehicles. - Persons transiting through Ukraine with a ticket confirming that they will leave the country within 24 hours. - Persons entering Ukraine to study. - Persons serving in the armed forces of Ukraine. - Persons permanently residing in Ukraine with the appropriate permit. - Refugees. - Diplomats, members of their families and representatives of international missions. - Instructors from NATO member states working with the armed forces of Ukraine. - Cultural figures and athletes attending official events and their staff. - Persons transporting stem cells. 16.04.2020 On 15 April 2020, the Ukrainian Government approved a mechanism allowing, on the basis of reciprocity, to take restrictive measures against those countries that have set restrictions towards Ukraine. On the basis of reciprocity, appropriate measures can be applied to drivers and the crew of goods vehicles from countries which imposed border crossing restrictions to Ukrainian goods vehicles drivers and crew. Meanwhile, сrossing the state border of Ukraine is permitted for drivers and the crew of goods vehicles from countries which didn't impose any restrictions on Ukrainian goods vehicles drivers and the crew.
