In accordance with the provisions of the 1998 Agreement and in consultation with the Treaty Section of the UN Office of Legal Affairs, the secretariat uses an electronic procedure for communicating the Notifications to the Permanent Missions in Geneva of the Contracting Parties to the Agreement. These Notifications concern the establishment of UN Global Technical Regulations in the Global Registry and the listing of candidate regulations in the Compendium of Candidates, once adopted by the Executive Committee of the 1998 Agreement. For sending the above mentioned Notifications, Status Reports and other communications to other Contracting Parties and to the UNECE Secretariat, as foreseen in Articles 6, 7 and 16 of the 1998 Agreement, Permanent Missions in Geneva are kindly requested to contact by email the UNECE 1998 Agreement focal point, Mr. Edoardo Gianotti. |
