Brian Emmott is Founder and Director of Terre Initiative Limited, an organizer of the International Real Estate Advisory Network (IntREAN), which is a not-for-profit company formed to help the various participants in real estate markets. IntREAN was launched in 1998 by the then Executive Secretary of UNECE. Brian is a founder member of the UNECE Real Estate Market Advisory Group (REM) and its predecessor REAG.
Has been involved in the operational side of the Banking & Finance Industry for over 40 years and with the development of electronic banking, finance and commerce from its infancy with Chemical Bank (now JP Morgan Chase) and GE Information Services.
His work has applications in all economies where home ownership has not been common. The work includes innovative ways of providing banking and financial services for specific cultural, religious or other requirements using the latest technology and communications. It has a focus on affordable, ecological and sustainable homes and communities and efficient real estate markets.
