1. Objectives

Project purpose

The purpose of the project is to develop a scheme by which zero tolerance to corruption principles are implemented by awarding PPP Units and other agencies with a certificate for compliance. The subsidiary aims are to look at the demand for such a scheme from relevant government agencies and its feasibility dealing with issues such as liability, functionality and legality from the perspective of the UN.

Project scope

The scope of the project is:

i. To define the demand
ii. To identify the methodology for the award of a certificate and
iii. To prepare a template document that sets out the evaluation criteria by which a certifying officer would evaluate a PPP unit or other relevant agencies.
