The scope of the project is:
- To define the demand
- To identify the methodology for the award of a certificate and
- To prepare a template document that sets out the evaluation criteria by which a certifying officer would evaluate a PPP unit or other relevant agencies.
3. Project deliverables
The project deliverables are:
- Delivery of the results of a questionnaire to important stakeholders: PPP units, international standard bodies and certification companies, etc.
- Concept of the certification scheme – parties involved, benefits derived, nature of certifying officers, payment, organization of the service, etc.
- The model under which the certification scheme will be implemented
- A certifier’s manual on instructions on how to properly evaluate PPP units’ compliance with zero tolerance to corruption.
4. Geographical focus
The focus is global.
5. Project Team membership and required functional expertise
Membership is open to experts with broad knowledge in the area of PPPs especially in low and middle income countries and with experience in similar certification schemes.
