Sustainable Development Goals

Introduction

Welcome to the UNECE wiki on the transport-related Sustainable Development Goal indicators. This resource aims to bring together all country-level and international efforts at monitoring the transport SDG indicators. In addition, it includes resources on how countries have included transport in their Voluntary National Reviews and National Reporting Platofrms more generally, including where they have selected additional national indicators to monitor transport-related sustainable development in their own way.

Summary

The main transport-related SDG indicators are as follows:


3.6.1: to half the number of rioad traffic accident fatalities by 2030.

9.1.1: the proportion of the rural population who are within 2 km of an all-season road.

9.1.2: passenger and freight volumes, by mode of transport.

11.2.1: the proportion of the urban population within 500m of a public transport stop.
